An issue exists where PDFs that are uploaded to Collage will display in a strange font, when being sent to employees or when being annotated.

This typically happens on Windows machines: an affected PDF may look fine on a Mac computer, but could appear strange on Windows.

This issue can occur when saving a document as a PDF using the "Save As" option.

If instead the original document is saved as a PDF using the Print function, this issue will not occur.

To save as a PDF by using the print function:

  1. Click "File" when viewing your word processor, then find "Print" in the dropdown menu or press Ctrl+P (Windows) or ⌘+P (Mac OS)

  2. If you are printing via your browser, a print menu will come up. Look for a dropdown that says "Destination" and select "Save as PDF"

  3. If you are printing via a desktop app, find the "Save to file" option and save as a PDF.

You can then upload the new PDF to Collage and it should display normally.

If you are experiencing this issue and the above did not fix it, please reach out to our support team using the Intercom button in the bottom right of your screen.
